Nice idea for a thread!
Like your use of colors man
I think maybe we could post a link to the audio of the screenshot sessions too. That'd add more to the picture imo..
Anyway when I'm next in the studio I'll shoot the screen and upload it

You know, I wish I had a bit more consistency in my colouring; it's all pretty random, and I usually just quickly assign a new colour to a clip if I've changed something after duplicating it.

I'm really getting the dark themes now. Even though some colours can become too intense, especially automation curves/points with certain skins, it's overall a lot less tiring to look at.

Anything more than a one note drone is trying too hard.

I prefer A than E myself. Using E is like the pop music of drone!

Like in most things I seem to do, the interesting stuff isn't visible, so I opened the M4L patch for this one. The list of numbers is an Oxford treble bob major - a bell ringing sequence. For each 8 note sequence, the order of the bells changes slightly so that they never repeat. I have 8 synth sounds acting as the bells (4 Modular G2 patches and 4 mono tetra patches) and whatever note is playing played in the clip is the note that this patch plays. Then I have a Nord G1 Modular plying some rhythm and a matrix 100 playing some chords. Looking at the patch now, I see some redundant parts I forgot to delete while creating it!

Yeah, but I use the pitch crap in Operator to change the note. Using midi notes for that is trying too hard.

I never thought of that. I must try harder...

You need to tame the clap at around 5khz. Nearly took my face off.
