Why just safe solo for the effect returns?
I sub audio a lot and its a total pain in the arse having to hit Ctrl and solo the sub channel and the auio channel to hear something in isolation. With a large session it becomes a big hassle
HIDE TRACKS
While resizing is good, it would have sealed the deal if hide tracks was in there. I can often use two instances of Impulse with up to 16 seperate outs. This becomes a total nightmare to deal with. Again I cant solo anything. Assigning the se channels to safe solo would solve this major hassle instantly.
Would ahve so liked these features in version five.
Track Hide/Solo safe
yes, weve been asking for this for a while and it would be SO useful, i run into in constantly:
we need an "intelligent solo" that follows the logic of your routing.
so if you have a HH routed to a HH group then to the DRUM submix which goes to the MASTER. ..... the application sees that and solos them all for you.
as it is i set up a key (lowercase 'a') for stop all clips. then i hit the 'a' key just before i click on my HH clip. this stops all clips and solos the clip. but it only covers some scenarios, not all, and stops all of your other clips which need to be refired
the intelligent solo allows quick soloing for live use as well.

SOLOING
I agree. When soloing an instrument it would be nice to hear the efx sends. It does get difficult with complex routing pages. Logicpro had it...but i dont use logicpro anymore! keep up the good work abletons.
