How can I trigger Impulse samples with Trigger Finger pads ?

Post by the egg-thing » Sun Jul 10, 2005 9:09 pm

first of all it doesnt seem like the sample-play buttons
of impulse can be remotely triggered since the midi-button
doesnt put them into blue-light. But the Enigma Software that comes
with trigger finger looks like it can adjust the trigger finger
so that it can controll two impulses - this doesnt seem to work.
it was supposed to be so easy!
this controll of impulse (besides triggering tracks) is the main thing why trigger finger has drum-pads , no?(in the demo-video it looks that way)

in Enigma: i choose '10: the Ableton Live Impulse x2' presents and hit
'send bank to device' - isnt that adusting the midi channels right?
there must be lots of people sucessfully using these drumpads with impulse-
please how did you do it?
thanks a lot!

Dont worry. In the tips and tricks forum there is a thread for you. The author is vashremix and the tip came from deckme(n)tal. There is always a learning curve with a new piece of equipement. I usually take a deep breath if I start getting frustrated. I just got mine a few days ago. It's def. pretty dope. Well i'm still learning it myself. When I figure some for stuff out i'll post it in tricks and tips.
