Incredible documentary so much energy making everything new almost from scratch, great!
not really... rock'n'roll was already well alive..world wide..
but it manifests differently in different cultures...

Would you like me to add a list of comments about Abletons so called lack of support that users of this forum have been writing for the last few years.

Whats your point, Backstabbing is a term used to describe, having a conversation in someones face when they talk to you, then when their back is turned having a converstaion or saying something different.

A bit like you guy's, using the forums, to respond to everyhting.

Seriously, did you forget to take your pills?
Also, no, me or anyone else commenting on something you say is not backstabbing, frontstabbing maybe, nobody should have to point that out. Are you now going to go into the classic, "Say that in real life fucker!" routine?

Did you even read the coment I made

It wasn't directed at any body in particular.

I'm a big boy, I have a day job, and believe me, I faced with plenty of real life situations that involve knives, so I don't need lecturing on anything about psychtropic substances or nuroleptic antidotes.

I know you're feeling edgeness because of the Andy Murray's lost in the Wimbledon.

Indeed yes that's it, I'm crying into my oat's it's my fault.

I won't ever defend Ableton again, I'm want to be just like you, I'm not worthy, I'm and idiot.

I'm so sorry I offended you.

No hard feelings.

Kind Regards.

64 bit will not save the world from monster plugs.
64 bit lets you use more RAM. it was never going to make much, if any, difference with CPU-monster plugs...

my point is ..
if Ableton is a charitable organization or not doesn't matter for the user buying/using the product..
it has absolutely 0 relevance..
( almost all companies are... I have many examples..it's positive thing.. but nothing special in any case.. it's called good PR )

my second point was.. a Fender guitar player can also play/purchase a Gibson guitar..

and no... I would not like you to post a list of users... that's fn creepy ...
you keeping track of "traitors" in this forum.. ?

this just in :
http://youtu.be/ypcPm-oorzA

some stuff there looks mighty useful..
like dragging arranging multiple audio files in a clip on the fly..
multi track midi editing..
a "session view" (Live style) for the mixer and a different one for the arranger (FL style)..
visual representation of wavs inside clips..
CLIP AUTOMATIONS !

I have to say that I like the Live GUI looks better.. but I'm betting it's skinable..

etc.
Linux users must be waiting in angst..

I wonder how good are the midi-device/kbd/mouse/multitouch integration and workflow features...
also how they've implemented "follow actions"..

new music production and performance tool?

still no information on midi preferences and editing.
not 1 video where "clip automation" is recorded into a session view clip from a midi controller
is there a control_surface kind of thing implemented, AND is that editable?
can "presets" or parameters of effects and instruments be stored and recalled per clip launch?

It's intriguing, but I wont be impressed until I see mouseless videos.

I wanna see a video where a controller builds the set from the browser and automation is recorded in session view,
I wanna see midi preferences with modifiers (shift+ functionality) customizable complex mapping
I wanna see the poly synth+fx recall different settings per clip while nested in a drumRack
I wanna see 16 cells in a drumRack fully populated with synths samplers and fx, plus 7 other tracks with various vst instruments and fx, with 4-6 return tracks including 1 nice reverb, getting "performed" and not choking up.

I want bigwig OR Ableton to keep me interested in playing the laptop, because lately I feel more like I am fighting and negotiating with it.

I love Ableton and I'm interested in bitwig, but Traktor is way more fun to "play," pity it's lacking midi clip and vst ability.
It's nerve racking that all these companies are so close to getting it, yet miss the boat in crucial areas.

dont know if anyone else is in the OhmStudio beta, but if its even the slightest indication...major bugs out of the gate, and many little problems...tentative full release is mid-Oct, so essentially a 6 month beta...if bitwig's is anything like that then Live has a bit of a window...

Honestly i dont think it even is a race, Live has so much under the hood that would be hard to catch up with right out of the gate, from that vid and all else ive seen i think BW should be more concerned about the next FL Studio release...
