Multiple VST folders finally? Please! :-)

Hi,

Now with 64 Bit support, it would be finally time to allow Ableton Live to select multiple VST folders in preferences.

Pretty please.

I found it very limiting already with 32 Bit to have only one, but now with 64 Bit, it would make life sooooo much easier to organize - Like one folder for 64 Bit Plugins and one for jBridged 32 Bit Plugins. When VST3 support arrives one day, that would be another one for the list.

I know that I can work around this by making the jBridge Folder a subfolder of the VST64 folder, but this is getting messy pretty fast.

All my other DAWs support multiple VST folders so it would be a great help to have this in Live as well.

Plugins sortable/categorizable/jbridgable/renameable... a single one dedicated plugin path, per host if you want different jbridge settings for a plugin in different hosts. No performance loss, no memory issues...

I read it.

I would still highly prefer having several VST plugin paths in Live.

in this forum we only want to focus about bugs which only appear in 8.4 Beta versions but not in the newest released 8.3.x versions. Please post your wish in the 'Feature Wishlist' forum. I will lock this thread now to make it easier for us to keep track of the open issues.
