Update Live - Without all the Packs?

I own Ableton Live (not Suite). Every time I update the software, all the extra Packs are installed (Operator, Tension, etc.). I always download the "Program Only" version. It's not a big problem, but the Packs are beginning to install intermittently, even without a software update.

Is there a way to update, without installing the additional Packs? Are they just trying to sell these extra products?

I just downloaded the software update for Ableton Live (8.4.1). The disk image is 914MB.

Where is the "application only" install? I don't own any of the extra content, nor do I want it.

Ableton: Please do something about this.
