live 1.1 and doepfer pocket dial.. still can't get it to wor

hi,.. i followed the thread on this forum a while ago regarding using a doepfer pocket dial with live.. using preset 111 and live version 1.1..

but... it still doesn't work for me.. the values jump to either 0 or 127....

any more hints..? why won't it work?

- select the pocket dial in the preferences,
- in midi learn mode:
click on the function/button you want to control,
then turn slowly a pocket dial rotary to the left,
then the controled function must be colored in green... that's all... if as you said you are using the preset 111... and if the midi in of the pocket dial is also connected to the out of the computer:-)

i got it to work.. .yeah.. it was turning until the control turned green.. if you only turn the pocket dial one notch then live's control won't turn green.. and the controller won't map properly..

so.. yeah. all works great now!
