How Do I Put Sampler into Mono Mode & All Velocity is 100?

Post by DrumPadMan » Wed Jul 11, 2012 6:15 am

I called Ableton NY # and tech support did not have an answer .... I have each note on the keyboard is some kind of sound effect, I want each note to be mono so that when I play the next sound effect it shuts the other sound off so the whole map of 60 notes is monophonic? .... Also I want the samples to all play at a set velocity of 100 no matter how light of hard I play the keyboard. .... If anybody can give me a heads up on how to do this I sure would appreciate it! .... Thanks

just set voices to 1 and velocity to 0. you can find both in the Filter/global tab!

Thanks for the heads up it saved me hours of trying to figure it out, the manual is lame ....
I do most of my performances live on stage so I need to change my mapped sound effects on a kbd with a program change and of course Sampler does not have program change. I know you can load different libraries and use different midi channels but that gives me only 16 sound effect maps before I have to grab the mouse and load another library. ....
Would you have any idea if Max or any other work around could make Sampler do program change?
Thanks Again .... DPM
