Hello,
Just weeks ago, I never had any problems with clicks or pops, or generally distorted sound quality. In this past week, I began using my PodXT as an interface for my guitar, but found that it doesn't produce high frequencies well and is fairly clicky and glitchy. I went back to using my onboard soundcard for audio (DirectX/Realtek) and now it can't even produce a note without it being extremely distorted. It will often work for a second right when I press play, then go super distorted, then sporadically work for split seconds then become distorted again. Also when my izotope mastering vst turns on through automation it sometimes starts working, but if I turn izotope on manually, nothing changes. I went back to using the PodXT for audio, and it worked for a while, but today even the Pod sounds horrible and distorted.
I am at a loss as to what is causing this. The izotope issue is especially confusing.
Thank you for any help.
Serious soundcard/interface glitching

Did you increase your buffer size on your soundcard settings?tronicamusic wrote:Hello,
