Hi,
I'm having trouble finding this information.
I'm trying to record guitar loops in session view. I know I can set up the loop length, arm record, and hit the individual cell I want to record in. It gives me a count in, I start recording. To stop recording I have to hit the cell again and it will punch me out. Problem is I'm in the middle of recording with both hands so I can't hit that cell button to punch me out. I realize there is punch in and out in arrangement mode, but is there a way to set this up in session view?
I want to hit the button, record my part, and have it punch me out by itself.
Thank you for your time.
Shawn

Re: Session view punch in, punch out.
I dont think Live does this, and it would be awesome if it did.
However, I think it's ClyphX that makes live record clip length based on the global quantize setting.
So if your global quantize is set to 2 bars, it will only record 2 bars.

I'll have to take a look at that. Does it work with a mac?

Never mind. I downloaded it and glanced at the manual. It does work on a mac.
