Ableton Plugins

Hey guys,

Let's say hypothetically, I have installed NI FM8. It shows up in the plugin menu on the left hand side of ableton. Fine.
Now, when I uninstall it, is there a way to remove the FM8 from that menu in ableton?

If you rescan the plugins it should disappear.

To my understanding, as long as the .dll file isn't in your designated plugin folder, it shouldn't appear in that window.
