Do you know Gobbler?
Re: Do you know Gobbler?
Hi Abletonites,
While I have you guys on the line... I'm building out some new tutorials for Gobbler & I have two questions:
1. What do you think is the hardest aspect of gobbler to grasp?
2. What is the coolest feature of gobbler that you think that people don’t know about or that we should feature more?
For those of you who've used Gobbler, lemme know what you think.
Andrew

cooles feature is that if one let it logged in, it will auto update the files in a background procss upon modifications (that's what i understood)

Thanks for your input muzik.
Yes Gobbler will detect new & changed files in your projects & upload them.

Re: Do you know Gobbler?
Not saying it hasn’t or can’t happen, but I have yet to hear about a situation where somebody’s song got stolen in a DAW format from a cloud server that was later released by another artist.xzusa8ky wrote:I would never save my projects on a server somewhere in the world where nobody knows who actually can access my files without my notice. I back up my work at home! No messy cloud service for me. But for some it it surely a nice idea
but at this point I would probably take it as a compliment.

Re: Do you know Gobbler?
My experience with the software has been great. Even sending projects via email to friends. Its definately worth a try in my opinion
Re: Do you know Gobbler?
I need to be able to sort my projects by path... quite elementary no ?
otherwise.. I'm liking the idea..
the software (pc version) needs to be expanded...
no way to see how much space left..
and no way to sort projects other than search
I tend to give numbers to all my sets with the folder name being the project name..
so no way to distinguish between any of my projects ..
they all show as "1_1 3_2 3_3 ..." etc.
the 'all projects' folder is just a mishmash of files..

We're working on ways to build out the organizational aspects of Gobbler and I agree that we have some ways to go. We have a community at http://community.gobbler.com and we'd love to hear your thoughts on how we could better tackle organization.3dot... wrote:I need to be able to sort my projects by path... quite elementary no ?

hey Andrew..
simply implement all the regular obvious sorting tabs available in 99% of file handling applications...
('path/date/type/owner...' etc.)
