asio with wamirack24

hi everybody.

i've this problem:

i've an egosys wamirack24 and i would like to use asio possibilities with live, but in audio options, if i click in asio section, i see only the old drivers i've installed in my pc (dman2044 and tascam us-428), but i can't see the only driver i wish, the wami drivers!!!

does sxist a sort of "refresh" for asio drivers? should i have to reinstall software or drivers?

Hi Mario,

As far I know the WamiRack24 is just designed for Windows so I assume you have a PC.

There is no "refresh" concerning the ASIO driver stuff. Normally all you have to do is to install the driver which should do all the work.

You can look in the registry...
- starting "regedit.exe"
- under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE / SOFTWARE / ASIO you should see a list off all ASIO devices in the system.

Is the WamiRack24 there? If not it seems to be more a problem of the driver installation. Maybe the EgoSys support knows more about that.

Other question...Can you open the WamiRack with another ASIO Application?

yes, i've a pc (PIII 700, 512mb ram, asus m.b., viatech chipset -shit for audio apps!- quantum hd 7200rpm 40gb) i've opened regedit and i found wami.

i use asio drivers with cubase and reason without problems

now everything is ok!!

i entered in win registry and canceled old asio drivers (us-428 and dman drivers), i rebooted windows and wami drivers appeared!!

Hi Mario,

Nice that it works now. But I thinks it could be a bug of Live. Can you say me which version Do you use? Is it the 1.1 or the 1.5Beta?
