Really, why are people installing this on the first day of release?

I never understand this and I'm a huge Apple fanboy.
so far I haven't had any issues.. I did experience this however just reopening the same sessions quickly fixes it. All my 32bit plugs are still working that I can tell.

No issues here, been using ML for a couple of months now. Works fine with 8.3.3 and 8.4 beta.

Here's a list of features that depend on which model and year Mac you have.

So just to be clear. You open a saved set and all your synth presets were reset. All you did was close and reopen the saved set and all the synth presets were automagically restored to what they were before?

Can anyone confirm this behaviour? Very curious to know if transferring in-progress Project files is going to @!&# up all of my synth patches.

I eventually upgraded...first to a clone of my startup drive for testing. Had no issues with any 3rd party plugs. I had one set reset synth presets, but upon closing it and reopening it again, everything was back to normal........

Shitstorm engaged!

Its a new OS, by Apple, all these other fucks have to catch up!!!

Also, comparing Windows to OsX is like comparing CalecoVision to PS3.

Hi everyone!

I have been out of music production for a while, I want to step back in and I'm now facing a little dilemma: I will buy an iMac soon, and I wish that everything runs smoothly with softwares and hardware

The source of doubt is the Mountain Lion 10.8 upgrade: would you please confirm is't all ok with my gear?

- Ableton live: should run smoothly if upgraded to 8.3.1 and above?
- M-Audio Axiom 49: driver support in M-Audio website shows support is available up to OSX 10.7.4, the device is said to be class compilant: is this the case also under mountain lion?
- Behringer BCR2000: same as above, should be class compilant: anyone experiencing whatsoever issues?
- Terratech phase26USB: Pain in the ass, since is soooo old... :-): anyone experiencing whatsoever issues?

Thanks in advace to everyone!

Regards and peace... :-)
E.
