Tricky one here. I am trying to use my Boss GT 100 to trigger clips inside of live (if you have a GT 10 I hear they work in a very similar way). The GT 100 outputs CC data from two of its pedals while the other four all output Program Change messages. I have employed Midi-Ox and Midi-Yoke in an effort to translate these messages to something that Live can understand. And I set Live's midi in to the Midi-Yoke channel. All well there
However, while the messages are translating and being sent the four numbered pedals will not trigger the clips despite being mapped to the slot. As I said above the two remaining pedals (Phrase Loop and ACCEL) do function and trigger the clips as expected.
I have gotten a lot of help getting this far from the Roland Boss forum but I suspect that from here it is more to do with MidiOx and Ableton rather than the GT-100.
Anyone done anything similar? Can you help me beef up my midi-ox skills?
