Volume fader ?

Whats the setting you change so when you move the volume control on the mixer it doesn't jump to the spot you moved it to? The setting where the volume will only change once youve moved the fader to that spot?????

Its a setting you can either have it so when u move the slider it automatically jumps to that position or you can have it so you have to move the slider so it aligns on ableton and then you can control the volume. Ya dig? anyone help its sorta hard to explain without being confusing

Im saying when I move the volume slider on my APC40 instead of gradually easing into it the sound jumps from low to high and vice versa

Yes it is. The best setting to avoid harsh jumps is "value scaling"...
