change of tempo with scenes

Hi there

I had a look in the manual for my question,but can't find what Im looking for.

So hoping you nice people may be able to help

I have a bunch of scenes with clips ready to go.The main tempo,of this track is 100bpm,but what I like to do is change each scene's tempo for variations etc

How do I go about this?

There's a setting, if you double click the clip in session view, called "seg. bpm" (Segment BPM). I believe this can be changed to change the bpm of a clip.

Look again and try p. 92/93 in the Live 8 manual. There's even a screenshot on to what scene name formats affect global tempo and signature.

Yeah just rename the scene in the format of: [bpm #]["bpm"]. So for a scene that needs to be 140 bpm, just rename it (exactly) as "140bpm".
