XONE 92
Re: XONE 92
What do you mean exactly? It doesn't have much in the way of MIDI functionality.
Re: XONE 92
i mean how can i setup Xone 92 with ableton ? do i need soundcard or its has built in sc? do i have to assign every channel ?
Re: XONE 92
It's no good just repeating yourself! You need to explain what it is you're trying to do!
If you go to the A&H web site and have a read of the specs you'll find out whether it's got a sound card or not.
Assign channels? As I already said, there's very little MIDI stuff on the 92 - as you'd know if you looked through the manual.
Oh by the way, the software is called Live, not Ableton.

Oh by the way, you still get what the OP means, and Ableton is a better description since Live has a variety of meanings.102455 wrote:Oh by the way, the software is called Live, not Ableton.

You trying to use the xone 92 as a mixer for 4 Ableton tracks?

Finally we have the required info!djmela5 wrote:Yes exactly
OK what you need is a soundcard / audio interface that has sufficient outputs for your purpose.
If you want to run 4 separate stereo tracks into the Xone then you'll need a card with 4 separate stereo outputs (it's not rocket science!).
The simply plug the outputs of the card into each of the line inputs on the Xone, using suitable cables.
On the Xone:92 you can also run the mic inputs as stereo returns, so potentially you have SIX stereo channels.
Alternatively just buy a DB4 or DB2.
