Making a track only respond to cc when armed

Post by 8bit » Sat Sep 08, 2012 10:15 am

Hi,

I've created a drum rack which has 16 cc assigned to it. I only want those cc to only work on that track when I have it armed.

Is that possible or is there a work around?

I want to use the controller for other things on other tracks.

I'm using an Evolution MK-449c midi usb controller

Thanks
T

I'm not sure, but you can try to do that workaround: assign another cc button to the on/off switch of the drum rack, so you should trigger its sounds only when you push the 'activation' cc.

let me now.

Nice idea,

Not sure it will work though as the drum sounds need to be triggered throughout the track.

I can't think of anyway round this so i've purchased a cheap korg cc controller from ebay which i'm going to dedicate to drum rack selection.

Thanks for the idea, let me know if i've missed something!!
