For all Lives 'misgivings' we have to remember, there are years of research, resources and development there in the foundation.. Not to mention Robert Henke

in the long run all I want is a good DAW experience. I ditched Sonar for Live years ago and stuck with it. being a one DAW guy and one that loves this shit I know I'm missing out on features other DAWs have, Live is pretty immature in many fashions. I like having new features so I can keep growing. I want Live 9 for new stuff to learn and play with. going to a new DAW like BitWig or back to Sonar or whatever would be something I'd do in time just to grow as a person.
clearly I have a love for Ableton but to say I wouldn't switch to another DAW is doing them a disservice. hold their feet to the fire, make them actually put out a better product, have them deal with competition. if Ableton and Bitwig are both holding out to see what the other does, that's total bullshit because it's the users that are losing in that battle no matter who wins that dick dance.

ANNOUNCEMENT
I'm releasing a DAW called LiveWig that has everything Live and Bitwig have plus ALL the user feature requests. go to funken's web site to sign up for the beta. .jpgs coming soon!
