Massive LFO quality is low when "sync" is on

Post by Cowpar2 » Fri Sep 14, 2012 5:51 pm

Ok, I've been using Ableton 8.2.2 for a couple months now and just got the MASSIVE plugin a week ago.
I've used the MASSIVE stand-alone for awhile, and never had any problems. It's always been clean cut, and a all-around very nice synthesizer.
Well, I was working on a track and I wanted to get a kind of "womp" sound that matched the beat. So, of course, I hooked up an LFO and ticked "sync". Now mind you, when I listen to the sound straight from the stand-alone, it is a great sound: very smooth and flowing. BUT, when I listen to it in ableton, It becomes jagged and horrible to listen to! I tried this out on a couple other sounds (ticking sync that is), and what do you know! Same thing happens!

I need help!

Now I know a couple of things it is NOT:
it isn't:
input or output latency on ableton
input or output latency on massive
"global quality" on massive or
The LFO itself (it only does it with sync, adjusting the rate manually fixes it)

Any Ideas would be helpful, thanks!

I remember having the same issue when I was trying out Massive. Unfortunately I can't remember what I did to fix it!

For starters, is it running with the newest update? And I think the 'pos' box has to be ticked as well.

Oh, your right, I haven't updated in awhile..
I'll try that, then come back and tell you if it worked.
Thanks!
