Global Macro's

Post by nathannn » Mon Sep 17, 2012 5:39 am

macros that are not limited to a single channel or instrument.

Example:
I have one group track containing two channels
one channel has a synth panned to the left the other channel has a copy of the same synth panned to the right
I would like to have a macro inside of the "group track" to control the same parameters of both synths at the same time.

I know I could just group both synths inside of a single track but I also lose the option of m/s'ing the channels.
The Push / Novation Launch Pad / Novation Launch Pad Pro / Novation Launch Key
/ Launch Control XL / Machine MkII / Machine Studio / BeatStep / Livid OhmRGB / Livid Code V2 / Apc 40 MKII

no computers or synths

20 Copies of Ableton Live Lite.

Also I know I can just map both the controls to a midi controller but sometimes I'm lazy.

I agree with you. It's sometimes usefull I miss it too. And it would be easier to do it the way you say than with midi mapping (which only works it you have a controller)
