Question on Mac 32/64 bit concerns

I'm not all that tech savvy about the move for Live to 64 bit, but have a basic question regarding compatibility of 32-bit plug-ins which I couldn't find answers to here. Will they work? What "bridge" is needed for that? I'm hesitant to move to the new version if I will be losing the functionality of lots of older plug-ins....

32 bit plugs won't work in the 64 bit version of Live, and Ableton have indicated that they do not plan to provide an internal 32 bit plug bridge.

as a workaround for plugs which don't have 64 bit versions, you can use jBridge, which works with most 32 bit plugs.

if you don't have issues with running out of memory, and you have a lot of 32 bit only plugs, then you may as well stay with 32 bit Live for now.

oh, and Max for Live is still 32 bit too.

Thanks for the info. Until they update M4L and reconsider the bridge issue, I"m sticking with the current version.
