So, I want to control different instruments with midi, but I can't seem to find a workable solution as there are only 127 midi notes that I can send from one device, and I have so many instruments I want to map in live. Also, it doesn't seem like live allows saving midi configurations in the instruments.
Does anybody here have some midi tips? How do you map midi to your instruments.
I'm currently using maschine and doepfer pocket dial.

There are 128 notes per midi channel, but you can send/receive on 16 different channels. Also, you can put your instruments on rack chains and then choose the range of notes each chain/instrument receives.
