automation snap?

Hi there,

Is there a simple way to make automation snap to grid when not using the pencil tool. I found one post from 2 years ago of someone asking and people saying it was on their wish list. Has there been any progress with what I believe to be a very basic tool ableton should have. Perhaps Im missing something? Please advise

At the moment I have to zoom in and out all the time to make sure, its very tedious.

Yes this is a very basic function that should be implemented. Also it would be good to be able to enter values using the number keys, maybe double click an automation point and then it would change to a input box.
