the power of a 'snapshot' feature
the ability to A/B compare is so helpful in recording world. That's why a 'snapshot' feature would be a huge plus in Live even if it would just recall settings of the basic mixer controls (volume, pan, track status, send levels) using 5 to 8 radio buttons maybe. If it could remember clips & clip placement it would be even better. For example, in the arrange view it could allow you to recall & A/B compare different takes in a given track (drawing from the audio recordings folder of the current live set). I hope the good folks at Ableton will take this feature into consideration. Thanks!
