Re: Surround Support?
I'll look into this. Thanks.
Are you making your surround module available in any way?

Re: Surround Support?
I guess you could make a pseudo surround setup if you have at least five outputs on your audio interface, but you'd need quite a few duplicate tracks and a lot of automation. And probably a bus track splitting the sub content. Then you or whoever in charge of the film or final mix could set the tracks up properly in Premiere or something?
I imagine it would be A LOT of work, but I got this idea that you could use an X/Y controller to pan audio with an intricate pan/gain setup...

Oh, wow... What if Live simply had a 'surround mode' for tracks, where instead of a simple pan knob, you had an X/Y pad that would place the sound in a 5 channel environment (or whatever is the hottest number of channels these days; the sub channel would probably be a simple low passed channel). You could activate or deactivate surround on the master as needed... Yes. This is now what I expect from Live 9.

Hi,
I do quad work, & would love to explore what your module could do in my setup.
