When Did Live Get The "Slice To Midi" Function?

Can someone tell me when Live got the "slice to midi" function for audio samples? I've been away from Live for a loooong time and I'm checking it out again. My last upgrade was Live 6, but I haven't had it installed in forever though. This is a cool feature. Has it been there all along without me knowing?
