I have no delusions about me and Insanity. Everybody says it works if you strictly follow the schedule and food menu/calorie counting. I’ll follow the 6 day a week workout but I have yet to make it through a full session. I’m not going to kill myself and it would be stupid and dangerous to expect to go from a lazy lifestyle and be able to keep up. Even at my premature cutoff I'm bathing in sweat and my muscles are on fire. I’m eating better and staying away from junk food and sugar, but I’m not counting calories. After 60 days I’ll be in a lot better health and shape but I’m not expecting to have the perfect body. I’ll get results but I’m not being all or nothing about it.

Once completed I’ll either start over again because I’ll be in better shape for it, or I’ll explore other routines and exercises.

It kind of helped me feel less like an infomercial victim when I found out a couple gym monkey friends were considering giving it a try and another friend started doing it about a month ago.

Whoa! I don't remember seeing anything about a diet. Next you'll be telling me I can't drink 20 pints a weekend, I suppose?

Sounds like it's doing some good though, even if you're not going whole hog on it. Let us know how it goes. Before and after pictures of you naked would be good (for scientific purposes only of course). Good on you man.

My roommate’s healthy lifestyle change consisted entirely of stop drinking beer and instead drink vodka with high sugar content mixers. Well, the high sugar content mixer isn’t a mentioned part of the plan. I’m just pointing out a fact and flaw in the plan…which isn’t the only flaw in the plan. It’s probably on par with the bacon double cheese burger with a diet Coke set. :P

NOOOOOO!

Of all my vices, this one can't be done. Maybe it's British thing. Chat over a pint is when you're on the same level as your boss, dad, or whatever.

I've had limited success trying to get the engineers I work with into Majitos. It just doesn't work.

I have the same issue, beer is a freaking culture out here, and there's some damn fine new beers daily. Doesn't help I live 2 blocks from a place that has like 700 local micro-brews either. :(

Fun place to DJ at though.

But yeah, not giving up the beer yet. :)

i was considering joining the freemasons to find out what the big deal is but, i found a website where masons come out and tell you their inner workings and it sounded boring.

Beer just makes me feel fat and tired, and that’s just after one. Hard liquor makes me feel like the most energetic, interesting, and confident person on the planet. But I don’t have to do any damage control the day after drinking beer because at worst all I did was go to bed way too early.

i have a crack of adobe cs6 that has been sitting on my hard drive uninstalled for a while.. i may delete it and then download it again just stick it to adobe for being elitist. its basically there in case i ever feel like learning it.

i bet there is no way i could join the masons now that i admitted that .

this is the opposite with me, liquor makes me feel like i am going to have a heart attack. after one glass of vodka i feel like what i imagine smoking bath salts or k-2 to feel like.
k-2 is not ok.

well, how?

i would not consider it a life worth living without beer and coffee

i could live with only beer and coffee for sustenance and skateboarding for exercise...i think i'll try that, starting...now
