Quick flipping through MIDI drum loops?
Hi all,
If I have a bunch of MIDI drum loop .mid's in my Library, is there a simple way to quickly flip through them (with, say, a Live Drum Rack Kit playing them)?
As it is now, it seems I have to drag each into a Session clip.
Thanks for any suggestions...

Drag a folder of loops onto a track and either set up follow actions or map the clips to a keyboard.

There isn't a quick way to do it the way you can with samples?

Not as far as I can tell.Bagatell wrote:Can you preview them in the browser? I don't remember..
You can "click here to play" it, which is at least something (but I can't just keep clicking through them without having to click "click here to play" each time) -- but the real problem is that I can't seem to assign a Drum Rack to play it, so it winds up playing as notes.

FWIW I try not to quick flip through audio or midi - it stops me getting more creative stuff done.

the crux of why any demo method is not gonna fly, the .mid files wont all line up by hit type with any one rack pad setupbut the real problem is that I can't seem to assign a Drum Rack to play it

right, all of a kind you can line things up, drag n drop, but if its a jumble of sources? ugggh. i think you would save time in the long run by writing your own
