I am using midi clock to sync several laptops together to jam in live.
one is set to master, the rest receiving sync.
the problem is, when one of the slave computers goes out of external mode they cannot reconnect to the midi clock signal....when they press external sync and midi clock is already present you can see the sync coming in but no cells can be triggered and we cant press play. (they need to have a start/stop message to work properly)
im not sure if this is a bug or a deficiency in live, or midi clock protocols but im pretty sure that ive done this using midi clock in logic.
any advice?
anyone else have this problem?
