Basically, I would love if clips could have triggered envelopes, that would behave in a way that the clip would fade up with an attack time when triggered, loop indefinitely as long as it is playing, then fade out with a release time once it is stopped.
Obviously clip automation exists, but it's not at all related to clip triggering.
Similarly, it would be amazing if audio clips on the same channel could automatically crossfade, so that when triggering a new clip, the old clip would fade out and the new one fade in by a user definable amount.
