I've just put up this track, it seems very hard for me to get listeners but I hope this track could provide some ear happiness to someone out there. If you think so it'd be great to get your support in form of a vote but I'm just hoping for listeners really.

I put up some stuff on my youtube account now if anyone's interested in hearing this track and others. Maybe I'll get more feedback there but I'd rather hear harsh comments from audiophiles here than nice comments from casual listeners on youtube.

+1 on plays. Nice track. To be honest, I do not know the original, so I cannot judge your remix. I am more into the original stuff. Tried only one remix so far. Regarding the track: It fells that, although it is heavily compressed, it lacks pressure. It is hard to hear the drums or any other transients. Did you use proper sidechaining and all that stuff?

And also regarding this forum: Don't expect to much feedback here. It is more like a drop box. Everybody is making music here and everybody wants to be heard, so there is not enough time to listen to the others. If you like, I posted my new track, also Dupstep and original work, some lines below. Maybe you find it useful.

I totally enjoyed it, especially around the 2' mark. I think you have a gold mine with that syncopated rhythm there, honestly it feels like it should be the main riff of the track. Lots of potential for interplay with bass and drums regarding that specific rhythm. Great work!

@Chrissobo13 - Cheers, I usually screw up what the best bits are in my tracks and make too much room for the filler stuff. Thanks, I'll maybe work on odd rhythms stuff like that more in the future - cheers for pointing it out.. I have a very straight 4/4 track to finish first. I'll post it on youtube first if you're interested soon (I'll put out another remix first . Thanks again, it's really great to hear from people who enjoy my music!

@som - I often just judge remixes as original tracks these days to be honest, most of the time people reuse only vocals and use the famous track+artist as a way to gather listeners (me included, although it's fun too and often can inspire you in new directions). Sure, if the remix sounds like the original it's a different thing... I did use sidechaining quite a lot, maybe I could've taken it another step further? I'll keep a closer ear to this in the future for sure, thanks for your comment - I'm glad you liked it!
