OK here's my vleesroos factoid:
after British slang picked up coney as a synonym for "cunt" (cf. connyfogle "to deceive in order to win a woman's sexual favors") it forced a change to the pronciation of the name of the long eared rabbit (Coney) from rhyming with 'money' to rhyming with 'boney', to avoid confusion!

That's why there are so many disapointed tourists at Coney Island I guess?

haha this has to be one of the most hilarious thread topics I've seen.

Have to admit I haven't read through all the posts, I just saw some irate righteous posts about very "mannerly boys getting hot under the collar at your rudeness".

I have no idea about macs, but there are enough media-hypnotised morons who bought overpriced Ipods in the world (though cheaper better featured units exist from many other companies) that it is obvious ... needy people like goatee beards, GAP style "funky" advertising and the whole "I'm an arty rebel" aspect of the mac world.

The white headphones of an ipod now signal the same level of coolness as legwarmers. Steve Jobs is surely sniggering at all the sad fucks who bought his advertising onslaught.

But, joking aside, Macs are just plain better. Steve Jobs licks every chip like a chocolate taster. That is why we pay a huge premium for technology manufactured in the same taiwanese sweatshop as my uncool Dell-user friends. Glad I paid the extra $1000 ... you can run many more instances of Reaktor 5 in Live 5 beta on a Mac than you can in a windows PC. Mac is just a better machine. It is that simple. Mac = quality and inspiration. Windows = utility.
