Audio card mixer

Hi everyone...

I'm after an "audio card mixer" like the Korg Zero series, possibly firewire (I guess it's too early for thunderbolt gear), in short something I can use to route ableton tracks directly into mixer channels...

I only know the zero 8 (or 4), do you know some similar gear?

there are dozens. find music sites and compare what's out there. you'll start to notice trends from cheap and basic to units with more audio inputs, then they add a pre-amp input and go up from there to mixers and full blown desks. research for an hour or two and you'll see that most manufacturers offer similar devices.

what's your price range, how many inputs and outputs do you need? do you need pre-amps? mic input? phono input?
