Sync traktor 2 & Ableton with tracking Vinyl

Hey there all

Have done a search but cant seem to find anything, im sure im not the first to have this issue... Im trying to sync Ableton to Traktor so that i can start using loops and one shots in my mixing... I use 4 decks of T2 first 2 using Stanton St150's with brand new V2 timecode vinyls and then the other 2 decks are Pioneer Cdj 1000mk3's... Ok so i followed DJ Endo's tute on syncing both programs but when i did it, it worked well as i was playing just internally but once i started using the tracking vinyl it seems to get out of sync rather quickly... It works ok with the tracking discs but does get out of sync after awhile and i have to keep pressing the midi clock sync button through traktor which skips a beat in ableton sometimes...

Anyhoo any help with at least the vinyl issue would be awesome

1. Ableton is notoriously wacky when set as slave to anything.
2. This is probably the wrong forum for such questions, seems you'd have better luck at DJTT on this topic.
3. With Traktor 2.5 out, why not do all things in Traktor?
