how the hell do you find the forum from new ableton site?

Post by sdmiddleton » Mon Oct 29, 2012 10:23 pm

Hi all,

Can anyone find the forum from the new ableton site - its a minefield or TBH as 'hip' as it looks - not very easy to find things. IMO!

cheers in advance!

Well, you've found the forum, so I don't see the big deal. They obviously don't want prospective customers to find the forum, because of all the negative publicity they get here.

Should we all just exchange phone numbers and email addresses right now in preparation for when they just shut this place down? :x

or everyone could agree on another forum to go to just in case.
the only one i can think of that has little moderation would be the reaper lounge but, then we would have to read about reaper.

maybe ableton will just hand this over to one of us and we can run it on our own servers.

I don't think they will be shutting down the forums, but to be honest I don't know why they are making it harder for people to find the forums on the new website... I don't like it at all.

I guess the forum is a minefield for them. full of people complaining about stuff related to ableton. most of the complaints are not to be take too serious. But when you launch a new product after a couple of years, you might not want to link straight to people whining about pricing, missing features, cperezz, tarnce and apple products. Better to keep this a bit below the radar of tech journalists, investors and ladyfriends.
