live 8.2.2 sound drop-outs/lags when djing/playing mp3

Hello,

I am new on the forum and noticed something there was not before, when I am trying to use Live for DJing - loading mp3s, suddenly the sound just goes out, also Live freezes a bit, I cannot stop the clips, they're not reacting but I can move around in the library for example.
It happens quite often, when prelistening another song, sometimes when buffering and sometimes just by chance. And I think it is really just with MP3. Sometimes i have to restart whole app, sometimes just switch to built-in output and then back to aggregate device.

I have no problems when using rex files, wav samples, VSTs or AUs, I just noticed this problem recently with mp3-

the problem does not occur when I have just the built in output as my output, when I have aggregate device selected - with 4 outputs - my M-Audio Mobile Pre USB soundcard as Master and Built-in Output as my Cue.

I have a Late 2009 Macbook White - OS X 10.6.8, 2 GB of RAM, but planning to update it to 8GB in a week - I hope it will help..I also have at least 30 GB on my HDD free. My soundcard drivers are the newest...

I did not find this problem anywhere on the forums so I hope you can help me with it..does a Mac have some kind of MP3 driver that I can update? Or how can I get out of the problem? Thank you all for help!!

okay i was playing with this for some time of days, and i found an inspiration from a solution here

..it is not happening to me anymore when i disabled the audio inputs - "aggregate device" in lives preferences

i will try it out tomorrow also with my ext sound card mobile pre, will try to set the input just to this card, not aggregate device, and see if ill have the dropouts again...hopefully not..ill update it here...

Have you tried with 8.2.5?

Sound drops? Check your audio settings [ raise buffer size of your soundcard if needed]

what controller are you useing....

cause after having a horrible gig performace from drop outs...
I had a brainwave....it very well might be my midi ports and novation's Automap server software.
I'm going to be testing and working around the alternatives...maybe ditching my old novation 25-SL (V 1.

Novation auto map adds at least 7 to 8 new midi option drivers and the ones yuou have to turn on almost seem like it might create sometime of midi hold condition.

I'll keep this board posted...
