Search the MaxforLive site and find a device called FretPad. This turns User 1 Mode into Isometric Keyboard Layout.

No LED feedback with FretPad, however works a treat.

I am in the middle of creating it in User 2 Mode with LED feedback to indicate a variety of different musical scales.

No LED's and you have to route it through a second midi track to get the right notes to show up in the piano roll. neat patch though those niggles aside.

If you own a Novation Launchpad you can use Midi Katapult to set it up as an Isomorphic keyboard with LED feedback. I'd like to share the Isomorphic keyboard template I use with Katapult. There are three pages, Chromatic, Diatonic, and Chords. The Chords page is used to trigger midi clips containing chords I copied from Soundprism Pro. Download Katapult ( http://www.midikatapult.com/ ), follow the setup instructions in the documentation, then replace the text in the layout.txt file with the text below.
