yeah! so weve got audio to midi function but wheres my audio to scrolling line of text feature

There was always something very magical about certain aspects of IT. For example the retrigger function ( Q in the left comumn and your choice of 0 to 9 in the next two columns ) Have never heard something like it since !

mine was FAST TRACKER 2
great one to make weird effects I wouldn't dare try to reproduce now...

ah the good old days. Looking at that picture it still makes just as much sense to me as it did back then: very little. I still managed to make a couple of tunes with it in some way. Then ReBirth came out.

I'm not old enough to have experienced it myself, but my dad tells me people used to make music with chickenleg looking wood boxes with strings:

thats what i started with on the ST, ive never been able to knock up tunes like i did with that and hardware.
