Well my folder is better than yours and "monolake" is in there. The first time I
fired 9 up, I went to "Prefs" as you do. Lo and befookin' hold - "monolake" was the default.

Maybe you've got a special beta.....

I might regret that but detraction was never an option where I come from.

On mac, if you look in the 'Versions' folder when 'showing package contents' of the Live 9 beta it's the file named 'Live.ask'.

Another lover of the new skin here. I can't say why, I just do.

Tried the trick of copying the skins from the App Resources/Skins folder of 9b to 8. It works, except there isn't one for the default...

Monolake is a much darker theme, similar to midnight.

Guess I'll just have to keep playing with 9b for another few weeks.....

I've been trying so hard to find a skin that looks like the max4live devices, same blue, dark grey background, light grey txt, and blue waveforms..... But there is nothing out there! Some come close but there's always some messed up colours that stop it from being simple and elegant.
Is the a good editor for live 9? I've tried the max patch but it's no good.
Anyone out there able to create a genuine looking max4live device style skin?
