i am running a 15inch powerbook. anything below 512 samples does hit the clicks and pops... weird thing is that when i run at 88.2 and not 44.1 i only have 5 ms, but it makes the computer run at high processor %.. thanks for the help, anymore help would be great.

it's not wierd, twice the sample rate means twice the processing.88.2?
now that's odd...
i run way below 512 with the onboard card/16 bit and have no problems
but i save alot of samples to ram
usual 256 or lower, depending.
