How to detune an individual sample of a sampler instrument?
Thanks in advance, Im trying to detune a sample (not whole intrument) in half note and some cents. I cannot find the way to do it correctly in Sampler.
Using ¨detune¨ parameter and ¨scale¨ Im not getting the results i want.
I have been doing this in exs24 by years...
surely Im doing something wrong,,,..thanks for your help

ok, the scale parameter must be on 100% to root move in half tones.
Ive imported this instrument from exs and scale was in 0 %.
Thats the mistake.
Thanks for your help!

You could group the sampler to an instrument rack and map the root note parameter of each sample to an instrument rack macro.esteban2010 wrote:Funken...please..

Thanks to all the answers,,,but..
Pitch sadly doesnt change the ¨tune¨of the samples....
And macro, as funken say, put all in same value....
Is very strage theres not tune control of whole instruments...
Im loosing something or L9 is the answer..??

Your right... argh!funken wrote:You mean map them all to the same macro I assume? Would it work? Most things default to zero when you map them.aioffermann wrote:You could group the sampler to an instrument rack and map the root note parameter of each sample to an instrument rack macro.esteban2010 wrote:Funken...please..

Pitch doesn't change the tune of the samples but DOES change the incoming note, which seems to be in your case a good workaround.esteban2010 wrote:Thanks to all the answers,,,but..

Maybe you could map all the root note parameters to a midi control? Although I think you may run into some problems keeping the current tuning the same...

Thanks again for answers....but..ok, pitch is ok if is a multisampled instrument, but doesnt run for a group of fx, or different voice or noises samples...
I have a huge collection of that kind of sample-collection-instrument done in exs24...Im converting to Ableton Sampler.
Is the first time I found a Really bad thing in Ableton.(.
Maybe 9.
Thanks!

And keep in mind it's a problem arising from trying to convert ESX instruments, so it only counts as half an Ableton problemesteban2010 wrote:Thanks again for answers....but..ok, pitch is ok if is a multisampled instrument, but doesnt run for a group of fx, or different voice or noises samples...

Boss. If this works (has to affect all samples), hat's off to ya!ian_halsall wrote:in pitch/osc->transp or detune the whole instrument
