What each sound title means

I am looking through sounds in my library and I notice that in front of the song it has different titles. I am confused by a couple and was wondering if someone can give me a little description of what each one means and how they are used in creating music.

Lead
Pad
Chord
Rhythmic

Yes. Mallets are specific types of sticks you use to play Melodic Percustion instruments like Marimbas, Xylophones, Vibraphones, Bells & Chimes. So pretty much Mallets == Marimba, Xylophone, Vibraphone, Bell & Chime sounds.
