Finding VST folder after migrating to another PC

Post by radiance2004 » Mon Nov 26, 2012 5:21 pm

I recently moved from a mac G5 to a PC.
Basically, I copied my G5 hard drive with the exact same file structure to my PC.

When opening a song on my PC, Live will find all samples (well, almost) but it does not load the used third partie VST plugins even though they are installed. I can't even point live to where the missing pluggins are.

Any solutions to this?

Thanks!

why not? in prefs/folders you just redirect to the vst folder, rescan

these were vst, not AU, right?

ough...busted...must have been AU's indeed.
On my mac I had these (third party) plugs both as VST and AU so I get confused sometimes...

Thanks!
