Hi,
I've been watching lots and lots of videos of Live 9, but something is very disturbing and troubling to me that I can't seem to shake, and I'm wondering if anyone could shed some light on if it is true and why?
One of my absolute favorite features of Live 8 is the 3 available search tabs on the side of the samples and plugins browser. Everything I have seen from Live 9 suggests that you will only have one available search, without the ability to browse other search tabs... is this true? I'm afraid of being heartbroken by this fact, and if it isn't a feature that will be implemented, why was it removed from the interface?
This was one of the primary features that set Live apart from other daws like PT and Logic, at least to me. To omit this capability would be taking a step backwards, and it really bothers my that it might be reality. Can anyone shed some light on if this is true, and why? I would greatly appreciate it, thank you.
No Search Tabs in Live 9? Please, God. Tell me it isn't so.

The browser works differently now, you can add more folders on any location, and organize your own presets along live's following certain folder structure.
TGo be honest I found it quite confusing at first, but it's not the final version still.

So, I can't run multiple searches to browse through? Can I just add multiple folders, run individual searches in the folders, and switch between folder tabs? That would be basically the same thing, which I'd be fine with. If not, I'd consider it a major step BACKWARDS.

yes you can search in any folder or category, so if you wanna search in multiples at once you just select the one in a higher tier.
