Folders Not Appearing in Browser

i added a few folders with loops to my ext drive but those folders are not showing up in Live's browser. refresh didn't help

We need more info.
Are you trying to read a OSX journal formatted drive from win 7?, or a NTFS formatted drive from OSX with custom loaders?
What loop format are you trying to read out?

Does anybody else have this problem?

I cant confirm there is a general problem reading wave files from external drives.
Are these 32 bit float wave files?, did you tag them?
If you copy the files to your local drive, does it work?

Please send me a few to mads.lindgren@ableton.com and I will investigate further
