Looking to have my name removed from a thread

This has brought up quite an interesting and topical point actually.

For all the progressive liberalism of West Coast Americans beeing seemingly cool about the legalisation of the herb, how many skater slackers/Birkenstock Boomers here would be brave enough to declare their use of the substance on their application/ resume for a teaching job?

I've never had a job interview that brought up whether or not I drank alcohol on the weekends and in my off hours with dinner.
Ive had a few that asked for urine tests, and I made a choice to subject myself to that or not. Or to put it bluntly, any job that required I declare whether I had ever used or if I do use substances, wanted to scour the internet or my 'facebook' etc. pages for dirt or otherwise took it even further than a piss test is a job that's about as close to a prison sentence as you can get.

I get you're trying to point out that "grassnose" is trying to cover his ass etc. Rhetorical questions are annoying no matter what the circumstance IMO though.

Grassnose should contact the few moderators here to see what can be done, they can delete whole threads, but IMO starting a thread about wanting to delete threads that reference things that could be damaging to a teaching career is already a dammed suspect thing to do if some twat is looking around the internet for dirt on you.

You didn't introduce yourself at the job interview with "Hi my name's grassnose and I do drugs".......did you?

I'm assuming that grassnose is not your real name? surely just that name is enough to make people think twice. My advice is to leave "grassnose" behind you and start again with a fresh identity. you can always PM your forum friends to let them know who you really are.
