help on recording please
wen i record my decks into ableton i allwys get some kind of disstorted feedback every so often ..... it last about 20/30 seconds then goes back to playing ok ???? any idesa how i can sort this out please

How are your decks connected to Ableton? Are they earthed???? Have you turned any wifi or wireless devices off whilst recording? Could be one of a million things, we need more info on your setup

iv got pioneer cdj 2000 and pioneer djm 800 mixer ....................
i have my decks connected to ableton via a sterio to jack cable wich runs from the rec on my mixer into my computer

Ok you have some decent kit, have you a decent soundcard on your computer?
Have you also tried recording from your cdj's into another program like Sony Soundforge?
I would suggest the process of elimination. Start off with the bare essentials, disconnect anything you dont really need to use, close down any programs and turn off any services you dont need on your computer either.

dosnt matter what buffer settings its on just cant get rid of the thing , driving me nuts now ;(

and You get all the power supply from one source, don't You? I just point that one, as it is sometimes the reason.
It might be the AC as well.
