no sound

I just got this, and I have no midi keyboard of yet, I try to record and use the pc keyboard playing notes, but there is no sound?

any ideas on the setup of configuration.

ok to clarify, I click the red arm chair recording button on midi thingy, i press a bc , i see the things hppen on screen, but no sound is heared?

any ideas

welcome...
have you got a device set to receive your notes ? For example, if you have midi track 3 and you play some notes from your pc keyboard, you should have the red arm button on. This will allow you to see midi input on that track's meter. But it won't make a noise until you put a drum module or a synth or sampler in that track. Click on the track name, go to the live browser and click-drag a simpler into the bottom of the empty clip view window. You need to load a preset and then you should hear some noise.
